In the morning, Li Xiaoyue woke up to the sound of a baby crying. She saw Chen Feng sleeping beside her, holding her with one hand resting gently on her chest. Li Xiaoyue felt as though last night had been nothing more than a vivid dream, and the sensations from the previous evening still echoed through her body.

Gently lifting Chen Feng's hand away, Li Xiaoyue got up, scooped the baby into her arms, and paced around the room while feeding the child. Chen Feng had also woken up upon hearing the baby cry, but he feigned sleep just to watch the bare Li Xiaoyue nursing the baby in the room. Once Li Xiaoyue had soothed the infant and placed it back into the cradle, Chen Feng embraced her from behind once again.

"Chen Feng, stop it!" Li Xiaoyue protested, but she was already pushed back onto the bed as Chen Feng captured her lips and kissed her chest. Then, the scene from the previous night repeated itself, and the two of them plunged into a frenzy once more. This time, however, Li Xiaoyue did not dare to cry out loudly, terrified of being discovered by the servants, which only served to make Chen Feng even more excited.

By the time it was all over, the sun had already climbed high into the sky. Because Chen Feng's clothes were still in Wang Xin's room from the night before, Li Xiaoyue had to retrieve them and help him dress.

"Wang Xin is still in her room. You should go see her!" Li Xiaoyue had caught a glimpse of Wang Xin earlier when she went to fetch Chen Feng's clothes. Both of them knew what had transpired, yet neither chose to acknowledge it aloud.

The servants were cleaning the living room, and Li Xiaoyue instructed them to prepare breakfast, giving Chen Feng the opportunity to slip back up to the second floor.

"You took your sweet time coming up here!" Wang Xin did not curse him out when she saw Chen Feng enter. She knew that what was done was done, and no amount of words could change it now. Perhaps things wouldn't have turned out this way if she had left with the others last night, but she had stayed, and perhaps it was truly meant to be.

Chen Feng sat on the edge of the bed and moved to hug Wang Xin, but she pushed him away. "Don't touch me," she said coldly.

"I'm sorry. I acted on impulse last night. What do you want me to do?" Chen Feng stood up, knowing full well that he was entirely in the wrong when he thought back to the previous night. The ambush aside, there had been no foreplay whatsoever, and he knew Wang Xin must have suffered through it.

Seeing Wang Xin turn her face away in silence, tears streaming down her cheeks, Chen Feng sighed, sat back down, and pulled her into his arms. "Does it still hurt?"

"You jerk!" Wang Xin pounded her fists fiercely against Chen Feng's chest, though her blows were entirely harmless against his high physical defense.

"Take a few days to rest. I'll come check on you in a few days. If you need anything, just call me." Chen Feng left his phone number with Wang Xin, stood up, and headed toward the door. "Your husband is off to save the gaming world now. Get ready for the interviews!"

Despite herself, Wang Xin couldn't help but chuckle at Chen Feng's parting remark.

When Chen Feng returned to the studio and entered his room, he noticed a package sitting on his desk, addressed specifically to him. Seeing that Wang Xiaodie was currently immersed in the game, he chose not to disturb her and opened the package. Inside lay an exquisite blue box. Opening it, Chen Feng discovered a diamond ring. The diamond was cut into a circular pattern, topped with a pair of angel wings.

A ring belonging to a member of the Divine Wings Association! Chen Feng remembered Ortliz mentioning that he would mail a ring to him, but he hadn't expected it to be so luxurious. According to Ortliz, any member of the Divine Wings Association would instantly recognize the ring and know Chen Feng's identity, and they would go to great lengths to accommodate him.

Placing the ring on the middle finger of his right hand, Chen Feng sat down and put on his gaming helmet. As soon as he logged back into the game, Monk immediately started yelling, "Scumbag Feng, where the hell were you whoring around? Major things are happening in the game, and you're just logging in now?"

Hearing Monk's tirade, Chen Feng let out a silly grin. "Don't worry about me. Focus on your own tasks, do as many quests as you can to rack up contribution points, and I've got some preparations of my own to make."

Handsome Undercover gave Chen Feng a report on the intimidation campaign against the top five major guilds. True to Chen Feng's expectations, it hadn't yielded much progress. Naturally, the five major guilds weren't going to be scared off by a few rogues. Chen Feng had ordered this tactic simply to ensure that someone would continue retaliating against the five major guilds while he was away.

After messaging Ortliz to confirm that the ring had arrived, Ortliz replied that he was completely swamped. "We're in a massive war with the Horde, just message me if something comes up."

Chen Feng didn't plan on wasting Ortliz's time either. He sent a message to Cheng Xue: "Little Xue, tell the guild players to avoid fighting the Horde in the wild as much as possible. It's much more advantageous to kill them when they launch the city siege."

The main objective in the capital cities right now was to intercept the Horde's forces and eliminate their vanguard as much as possible. While these quests seemed straightforward, the Horde held the advantage in wild terrain, and dying in the game meant being forced offline. If they poured their primary strength into the wild, there wouldn't be enough manpower left to defend the capital. If the Frost Snow Guild wanted to secure an advantage during this Horde siege, they had to save their strength for the city defense.

"Jack up the price of all mid-level instant recovery potions by tenfold, and manufacture as many as you can right now. The demand for recovery potions is bound to skyrocket, and that's how we'll fund the guild's future development." Chen Feng had previously instructed the married woman Qiu Lan to produce a large batch of ultimate instant recovery potions. Since very few guilds possessed the formula at this stage, this was the Frost Snow Guild's sole opportunity to make a fortune. Of course, every member of the guild already possessed mid-level instant recovery potions, albeit in limited quantities. Compared to other guilds, having even one potion meant the Frost Snow Guild members were in a great spot. In rival guilds, only elite players owned mid-level instant recovery potions, while ordinary players had to buy them out of their own pockets.

After discussing the upcoming Horde siege with Cheng Xue, Chen Feng left the main city. Using a spatial teleportation banner to relocate, he vanished before the five major guilds could track him down. Besides, with the game now in wartime mode, nobody had the leisure to hunt him. The five major guilds all knew Chen Feng was an overwhelmingly formidable opponent; even professional players couldn't kill him, and ordinary players would simply die in droves. With active war quests on their hands, nobody was foolish enough to throw their lives away for nothing.

Once this Horde siege concluded, Chen Feng would naturally settle scores with the five major guilds, but right now, his immediate priority was to alter history! Chen Feng knew a few major historical events in the game, one of the most significant being a quest received by a player in the Japanese region. That quest unlocked a spatial tunnel capable of bridging two national regions. They had hired a studio in the Chinese region to assist them in triggering the quest. At the time, the studio had no idea what the quest entailed, and upon seeing the exorbitant payment offered, they accepted it, ultimately causing the tragedy where a major Chinese capital city was compromised.

In truth, every national region possessed such a quest. For instance, players in the Korean region had previously triggered it, using it to smuggle hordes of players into the Chinese region to buy up gold, gear, materials, and gems before returning to the Korean region to resell them at a profit. The Canadian region had used the quest to help a single player complete a cross-region questline. Only the Japanese region's players had conceived the idea of utilizing the quest to teleport a massive army of Horde troops directly across, allowing their own region to easily clear their objectives.

Admittedly, the Chinese region had plenty of players, but it was also the highest in difficulty. The Japanese region had fewer players and a smaller military force, yet they still resorted to this tactic. Chen Feng could not allow the national region's capital city to fall, as it would trigger a cascade of severe problems. Without a capital city to anchor the players, the entire national region would descend into chaos, seriously stunting the development of its player base.

Blood Dragon!

Chen Feng transformed into the Blood Dragon, wielding the Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros in his main hand and the Axe of the Blood Dragon in his off-hand—two ultra-high-damage weapons equipped simultaneously. Chen Feng vaguely recalled that this teleportation anchor point was located inside a valley, and based on the current time, the ritual should be nearing completion. If he rushed over now, he might just be able to avert the tragedy. Originally, Chen Feng had calculated the time meticulously; he simply hadn't anticipated the intimate events of the previous night, nor that they would cause such delays this morning.

Sure enough, upon arriving at the location, Chen Feng spotted six players standing in front of a giant hexagonal teleportation array, chatting and laughing among themselves. Clearly, the ritual was already complete. Without a second thought, Chen Feng closed in.

This time, Chen Feng did not prioritize eliminating the healers and mages first. His primary target was the ringleader, a Fury Warrior. Sensing that this particular warrior posed a genuine threat, Chen Feng knew that if he failed to neutralize him right at the start, fighting six opponents alone while getting caught in a chain of crowd-control effects would spell immense trouble.

The reason the Blood Dragon could excel against multiple opponents was largely due to its high elemental resistance, combined with Chen Feng's seamless stance-dancing, which pushed the warrior's mobility to its absolute limits and minimized the number of crowd-control spells landed on him. That was how the Blood Dragon managed to survive simultaneous onslaughts from crowds. However, facing top-tier professional players or experienced studio leaders required caution. They would leverage coordination and positioning to chain crowd-control effects. The moment Chen Feng was locked down, his explosive damage potential would vanish, making him far easier to dispatch. One crucial caveat applied here: they needed to land two consecutive crowd-control effects on Chen Feng, and neither could be a fear effect, because Chen Feng possessed the PvP trinket and Berserker Rage.

Charge! Battle Shout!

Chen Feng broke stealth with a Charge, letting out a roar that granted a bonus to his rage. Combined with the Charge, he instantly generated 40 rage points. Because he wasn't wearing the magical ring, his rage pool was 25 points lower, and he lacked the guaranteed critical strike from a stealth attack. However, Chen Feng compensated by using Berserker Rage to open up an immediate opportunity for Mortal Strike.

The roar of Battle Shout instantly jolted the Fury Warrior into awareness, alerting him to an incoming warrior ambush. But Chen Feng was only eight yards away; side-stepping to evade was impossible. The warrior could only hastily switch to a shield in an attempt to block Chen Feng's impending assault while shouting a warning to his comrades: "Ambush!"

Mortal Strike!

Activating God Mode, Chen Feng's single Mortal Strike instantly brought the Fury Warrior down to near-fatal health. Chen Feng's initiation was so blindingly fast that the opponent didn't even have time to activate Shield Wall. The target tried to block with his shield, but Chen Feng sidestepped and delivered a Heroic Strike to the warrior's flank. It triggered a critical hit, dealing over 2,500 damage and instantly finishing the player off.

Due to the mechanics of the Death Knight class quest, Chen Feng's Whirlwind had been converted into Howling Blast. If Chen Feng were to use it, the Blood Dragon's identity would be instantly exposed. Therefore, defying everyone's expectations, Chen Feng bypassed Whirlwind, rushing forward instead to land a Tiger Strike on the healer, followed by a rapid series of basic attacks that knocked the healer flat.

With the studio leader down, the remaining members lost their leadership and were left entirely defenseless. Chen Feng easily cut them down. Just as Chen Feng raised his weapon to destroy the teleportation array, a brilliant flash of white light erupted from within—someone was being teleported across!
