Chapter Fifteen: You Time-Traveled, Didn’t You!
"No, I’m fine!" Zhao Shi Di looked at Qian Duoduo with a puzzled expression.
"Good, otherwise if I keep tapping you and you keep screaming, I’ll be scared to death!" Qian Duoduo still felt uneasy recalling Zhao Shi Di’s screams from that morning.
"Who told you to tap my back? My back hurts!" Zhao Shi Di laughed.
"Zhao Di, what happened to your back?" Ke Yiqing asked curiously.
"It just hurts a little," Zhao Shi Di replied.
"Why are these dishes here again today? I’m tired of them," Qian Duoduo complained, peeking around to survey the food.
"Aren’t you trying to lose weight? Perfect timing then!" Zhao Shi Di teased.
"But you have to eat enough to have the strength to lose weight!" Qian Duoduo retorted firmly, then began to point at the dishes with the generosity of a conqueror.
Zhao Shi Di smiled, sticking to his usual two dishes and one soup without fail.
"Zhao Di, you always eat so little. No wonder you’re so skinny," Qian Duoduo grumbled.
"You guys eat more vegetables; I eat more rice. I’m not eating less than you," Zhao Shi Di chuckled.
Qian Duoduo and Ke Yiqing were both picky eaters, hardly touching the rice and mostly eating vegetables.
But she was someone who insisted on eating her fill of rice.
Eating only vegetables, she always felt hungry. So when they went out to have shared dishes off campus, she was at a disadvantage—everyone else ate mostly vegetables while she was busy eating rice.
By the time she was full of rice, there wasn’t much appetite left for vegetables.
That’s why Qian Duoduo said going out to eat with her was always the happiest time.
After the meal, Zhao Shi Di and the classmates returned to the classroom and found Zou Kai already asleep with his head on the desk.
Why did he always look so sleep-deprived?
"Zou Kai, didn’t you eat?" Zhao Shi Di sat down in his seat and gently nudged him.
"I already ate," Zou Kai replied drowsily, squinting at Zhao Shi Di.
"Then don’t just lie down after eating. That’s bad for your health!"
"Otherwise, should I go run a couple of laps on the playground to digest?" Zou Kai grumbled.
"You shouldn’t do intense exercise right after meals. You can take a walk first. Isn’t there a saying: 'After meals, walk a hundred steps and live to ninety-nine'?"
"Zhao Shi Di, have you transmigrated?" Zou Kai sat up straighter, staring at her with a serious expression.
"Hmm?" Zhao Shi Di looked at him, puzzled.
"An old lady transmigrated and forgot to drink Meng Po’s soup, so she’s always meddling and nagging like this!"
Zhao Shi Di was momentarily stunned, then glared at Zou Kai, snorted, and turned away, ignoring him.
Talking to him was truly infuriating!
In the afternoon, Zhao Shi Di felt some discomfort in her stomach.
Soon she realized trouble had arrived.
Her period had come early.
And she didn’t have any spare supplies.
To make matters worse, the last class of the day was physical education.
She sat still in her seat, too afraid to move.
