When a person focuses wholeheartedly on a single task, they lose track of time. Conan came to understand this truth today.

Perhaps out of sheer boredom, Suzuki Haruaki spent all his time drawing Pokémon, except during lunch and nap time, while Conan lay beside him watching.

Can you believe it? He actually spent the entire day watching an elementary school student draw.

Although Conan had heard from Ran Mouri before that Suzuki Haruaki was talented in drawing and had started learning to paint at the age of four, he had never witnessed it firsthand.

But after watching Haruaki’s drawing process today, Conan had to admit that the boy’s artistic talent was truly remarkable.

Throughout the entire day, Haruaki created dozens of completely different Pokémon, barely pausing at all.

Conan wasn’t skilled at drawing himself, but he had seen other artists at work.

If it were just sketching from observation, those artists could indeed work quickly.

However, when creating creatures that didn’t exist, imagination was crucial, often requiring days of careful planning before producing a satisfactory piece.

All the Pokémon Haruaki drew were imaginary beings.

Logically, Haruaki should have needed to pause, think, and revise for hours to create each new Pokémon.

Yet, from Conan’s observation, Haruaki hardly stopped at all, as if he had seen these creatures in reality — an incredible feat.

Even with Conan’s sharp deductive skills, he could not have guessed that Haruaki was a reincarnator; he could only acknowledge the boy’s astonishing artistic gift.

"Ring ring ring..."

"So cute~ Haruaki, did you draw all these?"

"What are these things?"

"Is this from some new manga?"

As the school bell rang, the three kids crowded around, their eyes fixed on the Pokémon illustrated in Haruaki’s sketchbook.

Haruaki smiled and said, "These are Pokémon. You can call them that too. The Pokémon anime will start airing in two days, right after Kamen Rider."

"Really? I’m so excited~"

Months ago, Haruaki had already completed the first Pokémon manga and had his father, Shiro Suzuki, find someone to help turn it into an anime.

Although Shiro didn’t fully grasp Pokémon’s potential, he was a devoted doting father to Haruaki.

So he immediately contacted animation studios and publishers, not only producing the anime but also printing millions of manga copies ready for release.

To maximize promotion, Shiro even purchased prime-time slots on major TV stations to air Pokémon repeatedly.

He hadn’t bought out the Kamen Rider slot because he wanted to ride on its popularity.

Kamen Rider was currently the most popular show, and many elementary students watched it immediately after school.

By scheduling Pokémon right after Kamen Rider, viewers would naturally notice the new show.

If Pokémon performed well, it could soon rival or even surpass Kamen Rider in popularity.

Haruaki put his sketchbook into his bag and turned to Conan. "Conan, we’re going treasure hunting later. Want to come?"

"Treasure hunting?"

Seeing Conan’s puzzled expression, Ayumi excitedly explained, "Conan, since you just transferred here, you don’t know—Haruaki’s super lucky. He’s our lucky star, so if you come with us, we’ll definitely find treasure."

Conan twitched his lips and shook his head. "No thanks. I’m not interested in treasure hunting."

"What did you say? How ungrateful! Ayumi and Haruaki both invited you, and you actually refuse?"

"Genta, stop it! You’re scaring Conan," Mitsuhiko hurriedly grabbed Genta’s arm and earnestly advised, "Conan, you can’t be so aloof, or you won’t make any new friends."

"Yeah! Conan, come treasure hunting with us!"

Under their persistent coaxing, Conan finally gave in and joined them on their "treasure hunt."

"What did I do to deserve this? Why am I stuck doing childish things with these kids?"

After wandering aimlessly outside the school with Haruaki and the others for over half an hour, Conan began to grumble inwardly.

Yesterday he was a famed high school detective, and today he was playing treasure hunt with a bunch of kids.

Where on earth were those damn black-clad men?

A cool breeze suddenly swept by, carrying a wrinkled note past Haruaki’s eyes.

Instinctively, Haruaki reached out and caught the crumpled note.

"Hey? There’s some kind of drawing on this paper."

"What is it…?"

Hearing Ayumi’s words, Haruaki flipped the note over to reveal several strange sketches.

At the top were images of an iron tower and a moon, followed by a pentagram, an umbrella, and at the bottom, a fish-shaped symbol.

"What do these drawings mean?" Mitsuhiko and Genta leaned in, curiously examining the paper.

Haruaki’s expression grew strange. "If I’m not mistaken, this looks like a treasure map."

"A treasure map?!"

"Really? Amazing! I knew following Haruaki would lead us to treasure."

Conan shrugged silently, utterly speechless and defeated by the children’s innocence.

Who would draw a treasure map on a scrap of note paper—and have it serendipitously found by a bunch of kids?
