“Ye Fan!”

Li Yaoyao called again, and Ye Fan waved his notebook excitedly, saying, “I just made another great discovery!”

Seeing his excitement, Li Yaoyao hurriedly asked what it was.

Ye Fan pointed the camera at the little animals inside the box, and sure enough, the rabbits and pigeons had all returned to their original healthy states!

“This…” Li Yaoyao instantly understood, her eyes shining with joy. “So, if you send the animals back, they recover their health?”

“That’s right!” Ye Fan nodded. “That means I don’t have to worry anymore. Even if something goes wrong, you just close the box, and I’ll teleport back again—no problem!”

After saying this, he immediately started taking off his clothes.

“My dear, I can’t wait any longer. Let’s start right now!”

Hearing Ye Fan, Li Yaoyao panicked. “Ah! I’m still at home… it’s not convenient!”

Actually, she really wanted to see Ye Fan, but when it came to meeting for real, she was overwhelmed with nervousness.

Ye Fan took off his shirt, revealing a strong upper body, unafraid that Li Yaoyao might see. He smiled and said, “It’s okay, just turn your head away first!”

“Ah!” Li Yaoyao shyly stomped her foot, ran to lock the door, then turned around, pressed against the wall, and tightly covered her eyes.

“Hey hey! Yaoyao! Bring my clothes here first!”

“Huh? Oh!”

Li Yaoyao was flustered, almost forgetting to bring his clothes over. She quickly turned back, opened the box, and saw a messy pile of clothes—shirts, pants, and even a pair of small underwear!

Blushing, she gathered all the clothes and tossed them onto her bed.

As luck would have it, the small underwear rolled onto the bedsheet.

Looking at the conspicuous little garment, Li Yaoyao’s pretty face flushed all the way to her neck.

She carefully picked up the underwear with two fingers and placed it back on Ye Fan’s clothes before picking up her phone.

On the screen, Ye Fan showed only his shoulders, smiling. “Your face is so red! Are you shy? Haha!”

“Ah, you’re so annoying!”

Li Yaoyao closed the box, buried her head in the bed, and covered herself with the blanket.

After a while, her fair little hand peeked out from under the blanket, grabbed one of Ye Fan’s clothes, and quickly pulled it back under the covers.

“He smells so good!”

Blushing, Li Yaoyao sniffed Ye Fan’s clothes, her heart pounding nervously.

After a moment, she pushed the clothes away, feeling embarrassed and scolding herself for being such a little rascal.

They waited for quite a while, but there was no movement from the box.

“What’s going on?”

Li Yaoyao grew anxious and opened her phone. The video feed had cut off the moment she closed the box.

“Why hasn’t he come out yet? Could something have happened?”

Worried, she ran to the box and tried to open it, but hesitated halfway—Ye Fan wasn’t wearing any clothes!

What should she do?

Li Yaoyao closed her eyes and slowly opened the box.

“Oh my goodness, I’m suffocating! The box can’t be opened from the inside!”

Ye Fan’s voice came through. He looked around and saw Li Yaoyao’s modest bedroom: a bed, a window-side desk, two wardrobes, a wooden window frame painted green, and a vintage celebrity calendar on the wall.

Very nostalgic.

Li Yaoyao had turned her head away and tightly closed her eyes.

“Y-you… put your clothes on quickly!”

Her voice was like a timid little rabbit’s whisper.

“Ah, okay!”

Embarrassed, Ye Fan bent over and climbed out of the box. He immediately spotted the clothes on the bed.

“Don’t peek, okay!”

He hunched like a big red shrimp, shuffled to the bed, and hurriedly put on his underwear. Just as he was about to put on his pants, the door suddenly pushed open a bit!

“Huh? Why did you lock the door?”

Li Yaoyao’s mother’s voice came from outside. “Yaoyao! I brought the cage. Quickly put the rabbits in!”

Li Yaoyao was already nervous and now utterly panicked!

She instinctively opened her eyes, caught sight of Ye Fan in his underwear, then quickly covered her eyes again.

Her mother called out again, “Yaoyao? Are you there? Where did you go?”

“Ah! Mom, wait a moment!”

Li Yaoyao answered, and quietly said to Ye Fan, “Ye Fan! Hide quickly!”

“Where can I hide?”

Ye Fan was flustered too, looking around. Under the bed were some cardboard boxes—no way to fit a person. The wardrobe was full of clothes and clutter as well.

“On the bed! On the bed!”

Li Yaoyao was terrified. With her eyes closed, she reached for the bed and accidentally bumped into Ye Fan, who had jumped onto the bed.

“Ouch!” Li Yaoyao cried out, nearly falling.

Ye Fan reacted quickly, wrapping his arm around her waist. They both tumbled onto the bed.

Li Yaoyao felt a strong arm lock her waist. Her legs weakened, and she sank into Ye Fan’s embrace, her burning face pressed against his chest.

“Ah!”

Li Yaoyao screamed instinctively and sprang up like a spring. Ye Fan quickly waved his hands apologetically, but just then, pounding came from the door!

“Yaoyao? What’s wrong? Open the door quickly!”

Li Yaoyao’s mother heard her daughter’s scream and feared she had been bitten by a rabbit, so she frantically pounded the door.

“Ah, Mom! I’m fine, just wait!”

Finally desperate, Li Yaoyao opened her eyes and looked at Ye Fan, pushed him onto the bed, and covered him with the blanket.

Ye Fan gave Li Yaoyao an awkward smile and quietly pointed near the head of the bed. “The rabbit’s there!”

Afterward, he curled up with his clothes under the covers. Li Yaoyao quickly checked to make sure nothing was exposed, tidied her clothes and hair, then opened the door.

“Oh my, honey, what on earth is going on here?”

Li Yaoyao’s mother complained as she entered. She was about fifty, with short hair, wearing a gray-blue outfit, carrying the cage, her face a mix of reproach and concern.

“I was just catching the rabbit!” Li Yaoyao replied nervously, her cheeks still flushed.

“Is that so?” Mrs. Li stared suspiciously at her daughter.

“Mom, please stop staring!” Li Yaoyao felt uneasy under her gaze and hurriedly pulled her inside, pointing near the head of the bed. “The little rabbit scurried under the bed, look!”

Sure enough, the rabbit was crouching and trembling beneath the bed’s headboard.

It was curled up in the far corner, making it hard to catch!

“Oh dear, how did you manage to chase the rabbit into such a corner?”

Mrs. Li’s attention shifted to the rabbit. She set down the cage and nimbly climbed onto the bed.

“Mom!”

“What’s the matter?”

Mrs. Li gave her daughter a stern look and said, “Let me catch it! Open the cage!”

Then she prepared to climb fully onto the bed to grab the rabbit.

“Wait!”

Li Yaoyao lunged forward and pulled Mrs. Li back.

“Ouch, what are you doing?”

Mrs. Li, whose arm hurt from being pulled, was a bit annoyed. “What’s wrong with you today? Why are you so strange?”

“No, no!” Li Yaoyao glanced at the blanket on the bed and quickly explained, “You… you have bad back pain, right? You shouldn’t bend like that! Let me try to herd the rabbit out, then you can catch it!”

Hearing her daughter’s concern, Mrs. Li’s mood instantly brightened. She sighed with a look of relief and said, “Yaoyao has grown up!”
