Xu Mingchuan shivered. For some reason, he couldn’t stand hearing Xu Yancheng call him “big brother” anymore—just the sound of it made his skin crawl.

“You’re still young. Focus on your career for now; there’s no rush to get married,” Xu Shanyi said. He had never been too fond of Su Yi, always feeling that something about her was lacking.

“My big brother isn’t married yet, so I’m not in a hurry,” Xu Yancheng replied, successfully shifting everyone’s attention to Xu Mingchuan.

Xu Shanyi, Xu Jialang, and Chen Yuning began to bombard Xu Mingchuan with questions, and even arranged several blind dates for him.

Xu Yancheng leisurely sampled the dishes from the side, chiming in now and then, leaving Xu Mingchuan utterly frazzled.

During the meal, the two brothers bumped into each other in the restroom.

“You did that on purpose, didn’t you?” Xu Mingchuan wiped the sweat from his brow with a paper towel. This family dinner had practically turned into a matchmaking session for him.

Xu Yancheng replied lightly, “I’m just looking out for you, big brother.”

Xu Mingchuan was out of patience. “Well, thank you so much.”

He took a few steps, then turned back to Xu Yancheng and said, “Lin Lu—don’t bully her.”

Xu Yancheng gave a half-hearted smile. “You’re joking, big brother.”

He had almost managed to forget about that woman, but with Xu Mingchuan’s reminder, a sudden urge arose. Fine, he thought, tonight I’ll go and tease her.

Lin Lu had spent the entire day practicing dance, and fell asleep as soon as she returned to the dorm.

In the middle of the night, her phone’s vibration woke her. Groggy, she answered, only to hear a man’s deep voice on the other end: “Come downstairs.”

Lin Lu hung up at once.

Two seconds later, her phone vibrated again.

Just as she was about to turn her phone off, a screenshot popped up.

A still from a video—of her.

Lin Lu was fully awake now.

She crept out of bed, careful not to wake Yuan Ruoxia. Without even changing her clothes, she threw on a thin coat and slipped outside.

A black Bugatti was shrouded in the darkness.

Lin Lu wrapped her coat tighter around herself and ran over, opening the car door.

Called out in the dead of night, she was in no mood for pleasantries; the sound of the door slamming shut was especially loud.

Xu Yancheng was watching a video, silently.

“I have no idea what kind of spell you’ve cast on Xu Mingchuan,” he drawled lazily, “To still think you’re the innocent one after seeing that show at Midnight Charm. Don’t you think he’s a fool?”

Lin Lu yawned. “Did you drag me out here in the middle of the night just to say that?”

Xu Yancheng chuckled. “Do you even believe that yourself?”

Lin Lu paused. “Didn’t Su Yi satisfy you?”

“She’s not as wild as you,” he replied, turning up the volume on his phone.

Ambiguous sounds instantly filled the car.

Lin Lu was a little overwhelmed.

“Would you turn it off?”

Xu Yancheng ignored her. “You know, Lin Lu, you put those movies to shame.”

Lin Lu reached for his phone, but he lifted his arm, sending the phone flying under the back seat.

Grasping at nothing, Lin Lu ended up falling right into his arms.

His clean, cool scent invaded her senses.

She couldn’t deny it; Xu Yancheng’s face was striking—sharp, refined, but not at all effeminate. It had a certain allure.

A man like him was bound to be popular with young women. Back then, Lin Lu had been just one of the many girls who’d idolized him.

Lin Lu’s waist was slender; Xu Yancheng could easily hold her in place with both hands.

He was already considering the moves he’d make in a moment.

The video’s sounds continued, and in the deep silence of night, they stirred up hidden desires.

Emotions surged in the darkness, ready to ignite.

Lin Lu stared at the restless car lights, her thoughts growing hazy.

The game was only just beginning...

Xu Yancheng had grown more skillful, and Lin Lu found herself enjoying it.

In truth, after the first time, every encounter had been pleasurable—both to the senses and to the eye.
