Chapter 107: Global Uproar
“Do you think he would care about these things?” the Secretary-General asked. “If that man cared, he wouldn’t have gone on such a murderous rampage here in Ghost Island Continent. His actions prove he simply doesn’t care!”
Rei waved his hand dismissively. “Secretary-General, I think your thinking is flawed. We represent the mightiest continent, Rice Continent. Remember, behind you stands Rice Continent. No one in the world dares to defy us.”
The Secretary-General frowned. “I suspect your brain is filled with muscle instead of reason. Right now, we are not on Rice Continent. If we provoke that man, we have no means to subdue him.”
“That won’t happen,” Rei said confidently. “Don’t you know the nature of the Long Continent people? That man may not care, but the Long Continent itself won’t stand idly by. They won’t need us to intervene; they will stop him from going too far because the Long Continent cares deeply about the survival of all humanity. They know very well that without Rice Continent, humanity would lose hope.”
The Secretary-General was stunned.
Rei continued, “We, Rice Continent, are humanity’s saviors. No matter what we do, Long Continent must endure it. Even if that man is powerful, he must hold back. And if he really causes trouble, at worst, I’ll apologize to him. That should suffice, right?”
Hearing this, the Secretary-General finally nodded. “If he’s really going to make a fuss, you must apologize to him. He’s incredibly strong—I even doubt a nuclear bomb could kill him. There’s no need for us to fight him to the death. But you apologizing should be enough.”
“I don’t think that’s enough!”
Suddenly, a cold voice rang out from outside the hall. Then, with a thunderous crash, the doors collapsed.
Gu Sha entered, carrying a long blade on his back, holding two Rice Continent foreigners by the collar and slamming them mercilessly onto the ground. Both died instantly.
Chaos erupted in the hall.
Everyone from Rice Continent recognized Gu Sha immediately.
Seeing Gu Sha walk in with murderous intent, the Secretary-General realized something was terribly wrong. He quickly spoke up, “Mr. Gu Sha, what do you intend to do? Is Long Continent declaring war on Rice Continent? Are you willing to ignore humanity’s survival at such a critical moment?”
Gu Sha sneered.
This foreigner’s speech was artful—he was skilled at turning blame around and starting with accusations.
But Gu Sha had no interest in wasting words. He stepped forward and appeared before the Secretary-General in an instant, grabbing his neck tightly and coldly asking, “Do you deserve to speak to me?”
With a snap, the Secretary-General’s neck broke instantly.
Rei was horrified and shouted, “What have you done? You’re dead meat now! Long Continent is finished! Do you know who we are? We are the great people of Rice Continent! How dare you do this? Not only you, but all of Long Continent will face humanity’s wrath!”
“You foolish idiot!” Gu Sha cursed, charging at Rei.
Rei scrambled to defend himself, trying to resist, but in front of Gu Sha, he couldn’t even lift a hand. Gu Sha immediately seized his neck.
“No, you can’t kill me...” Rei panicked, struggling. “I’m sorry, I apologize. I shouldn’t have provoked you. I apologize. This will earn you respect worldwide. I…”
“Shut the hell up!”
Gu Sha slapped Rei’s face hard. Rei’s head spun a full 360 degrees before his corpse was thrown to the ground, face down.
At this moment, everyone remaining from Rice Continent panicked.
Gu Sha suddenly waved his hand.
A terrifying energy surged out like a tsunami, violently sweeping through. The Rice Continent people were flung away like kites with broken strings, smashing through the glass walls of the building. One by one, they fell from the high-rise, crashing into the ground as puddles of gore.
Then, Gu Sha flicked his hand and looked at the two ministers from Ghost Island Continent who had been guiding him, saying, “You should know where those who challenged me at the Global Forum are located. Now go find your Ghost Island’s Jiujü and Yaodao. No problem, right?”
The two ministers looked troubled.
They had witnessed Gu Sha’s terrifying strength firsthand. Even Rei, ranked second globally, had no ability to resist him. Jiujü and Yaodao were also elite fighters, the strongest supernatural warriors of Ghost Island Continent, but ranked outside the top ten. They could never match Gu Sha.
Gu Sha going after these two meant they were surely doomed.
But Jiujü and Yaodao were the continent’s greatest warriors, almost sacred figures to Ghost Island.
One minister swallowed nervously and said, “Lord Gu Sha, perhaps there’s been some misunderstanding. We can have Yaodao and Jiujü publicly apologize to you. They shouldn’t have offended you…”
Before he finished, his voice was cut off abruptly.
Gu Sha grabbed his neck and said coldly, “Who gave you the courage to bargain with me?”
The minister’s eyes widened in terror.
In the next moment, his neck shattered.
Gu Sha tossed the corpse onto the floor.
He then turned to the other minister.
Before Gu Sha spoke, the minister hurriedly bowed, “Lord Gu Sha, I will lead the way immediately. I know where they are—they have been at Base 7 undergoing genetic development.”
Gu Sha said nothing and followed the minister downstairs.
Meanwhile, halfway to Base 7 in D City, the Global Forum was already in uproar.
Gu Sha’s actions inside D City’s barrier had been broadcast worldwide: his massacre, killing the ministers from Ghost Island Continent in the military intelligence building, and the deaths of Rei and the Rice Continent delegation—all stirred shock and disbelief.
No one questioned the authenticity because, unlike previous one-sided war records announced by Long Continent, this time there was clear footage, all in high definition.
Amid the uproar, Gu Sha’s ID from the first sequence posted a new message:
“Currently in D City. Challengers, come and meet your death!”
This latest post drew countless onlookers and terrified many, especially those who had previously boasted on the forum that Gu Sha was weak and could be publicly defeated. One by one, they frantically deleted their posts.
At this moment, Gu Sha had already arrived at D City’s Base 7.
