Chapter 117: Kato Eagle’s Hand
Tsunade heard Kato Gofu mention “iced grapes,” then glanced at the iced tea in her hand. Memories of their sweet first kiss under the Milky Way and the bright moon a few months ago surfaced, and her attitude finally softened.
“Do you realize your mistake now?”
“Yeah, yeah, I do.”
“What was the mistake?”
“I forgot that the sofa is a luxurious, all-feather, pure silk new sofa I bought from the Land of Feathers. It’s soft and spacious—more than enough for the two of us to lie on together. Everything is perfect, except the rebound is a bit slow, which revealed the traces…”
“Hm?”
Tsunade heard Kato Gofu ramble on about the pros and cons of the new sofa and the sleep marks just now, but he avoided the main point. She subtly flexed her legs a little and pressed her two fair, delicate feet down onto Kato Gofu’s shoulders.
“Cough, cough, you shouldn’t have been so lazy and dozed off until so late. The sun’s almost setting…”
Feeling the weight of her feet beside his face, Kato Gofu quickly corrected himself and got to the point. Taking advantage of Tsunade’s softened attitude and willingness to engage, he swiftly placed the stack of task lists on the desk and, with both hands, gently massaged her delicate foot he had just captured.
“Hmph!”
Tsunade let out a slight snort. She wasn’t truly angry with Kato Gofu.
Her mood had been sour these past couple of days, partly due to physical exhaustion and work stress, and partly because of her younger brother, Shigure Senju, who had been vexing her. Just yesterday, she had a fierce argument with him.
The siblings had nearly come to blows, with Shigure thoroughly upsetting Tsunade.
Usually, Tsunade didn’t mind Kato Gofu’s occasional laziness and idling about. They had been officially dating for months, constantly close and affectionate, and she had long grown accustomed to his little habit of sometimes turning into a couch potato.
But now, still simmering from her troubles with her brother, she found herself unable to manage her own sibling and instead seized upon her boyfriend’s laziness as an outlet for her frustration.
Seeing Kato Gofu’s obedient and cooperative demeanor, she knew very well he was indulging her, deliberately playing along to cheer her up.
Realizing one of her feet was trapped, Tsunade tried to pull it back from his shoulder but only managed to free the other, unheld foot.
“Let go, do you even want to get up?”
She deliberately furrowed her brows and puckered her cheeks, trying to scare him into releasing her foot.
But Kato Gofu’s thick skin had grown even thicker after dating Tsunade for so long. He had become exquisitely attuned to her emotional rhythms—down to the beat of her heart.
His ability to read her mood had improved vastly compared to before they officially dated, when he occasionally misstepped.
He knew perfectly well whether Tsunade was truly upset or just pretending.
Determined to help her fully vent the frustration caused by her brother and to ensure his own happiness and well-being these days, Kato Gofu was prepared to put on a shameless act.
-------------------------------------
Years of persistent physical training now shone brilliantly.
Kato Gofu maintained his peculiar “lazy recline” posture steadily—half his body resting on the edge of the desk, the other half suspended motionless in midair.
Seizing the perfect moment as Tsunade struggled to pull away, he unleashed a secret technique passed down through the Kato clan: the true ultimate body skill—the “Kato Hawk’s Hand.”
Swiftly turning his head, he opened his mouth and caught Tsunade’s delicate toe, his impressive bite strength instantly controlling the movement of her tender foot. Both hands formed fists, extending the index and middle fingers together in a curved shape.
Four nimble fingers, coupled with a flexible tongue, moved rapidly and precisely in perfect rhythm.
He began to tickle the soft soles of Tsunade’s fair feet.
The true ultimate secret body skill of the Kato clan—the “Kato Hawk’s Hand.”
“Ah… oh…”
Tsunade let out a sharp yet lingering cry, her vulnerable spot suddenly attacked, her body tensing instantly.
Two rosy clouds swiftly bloomed across her usually pale cheeks. The iced tea cup she still held was gripped tightly, causing the cold liquid to spray out from the small opening in the straw, soaking a large patch of her broad chest and clothing.
She was being tickled on the tender soles of her feet by Kato Gofu!

Meanwhile, as Kato Gofu busied himself with the “Kato Hawk’s Hand” technique on Tsunade, at the far end of the corridor just beyond Tsunade’s office wall, the nurse station was bustling.
Head nurse Shiki handed a thick stack of documents to Nurse Koharu and swiftly assigned work.
“Nurse Koharu, please organize the case files from earlier and deliver them to Lady Tsunade shortly.”
“Lady Tsunade isn’t in a good mood today—she even scolded Nurse Konatsu in the ward earlier. Nurse Koharu, be extra careful not to get on Lady Tsunade’s bad side.”
“Yes, Head Nurse.”
Nurse Koharu took the files and began sorting them quickly.
“She’s been grim-faced all day. This morning, she scolded me too.”
“Konatsu, stop crying. Lady Tsunade isn’t targeting you; it’s just one of those days when a woman’s mood is bad. Besides, I heard she had a fight with her brother yesterday—they almost came to blows.”
Busy Nurse Koaki chimed in, comforting the sobbing Nurse Konatsu in the corner of the station.
“No, I don’t blame Lady Tsunade for scolding me. I know she was protecting me. I’m just upset I didn’t do my job well and nearly delayed treatment for a patient. The patient almost died because of my mistake. Lady Tsunade’s scolding was to protect me… sniffle.”
Nurse Konatsu explained her tears, sobbing quietly again.
“Didn’t Lord Kato Gofu come to Konoha Hospital at noon? I even saw the two of them dining together in the cafeteria.”
“Nobody’s seen Lord Kato leave yet. Maybe he’s still in Lady Tsunade’s office? Every time he comes to the hospital, he manages to cheer her up.”
Nurse Koduki, just returning from the ward, joined the chat.
Without hesitation, Koduki steered the conversation toward the romantic gossip around Tsunade and Kato Gofu.
“How do you think Lord Kato always manages to calm Lady Tsunade down? When they close the office door, do you think they do those things adults love to do?”
Nurse Koduki teased.
“Eh? Things adults love to do? Koduki, have you caught them? Tell us, tell us! Lord Kato’s so handsome, and Lady Tsunade’s so beautiful…”
Gossip-loving Nurse Koaki eagerly asked while working.
Though Nurse Koharu and sobbing Nurse Konatsu didn’t join in, they perked up their ears.
Gossip about the dashing Kato Gofu and the beautiful Tsunade, both top Konoha shinobi, was one of the few bright spots in their dull nursing routine.
“I’ll tell you, but you can’t tell anyone else. One day, when I went to deliver the surgical schedule to Lady Tsunade, I pushed open the office door and found the two of them on the sofa…”
Nurse Koduki, sensing the full attention of her colleagues, let her gossip spirit run free, glancing toward Tsunade’s office to make sure all was quiet, then vividly shared the scene she had stumbled upon.
“Quiet! Is your business to gossip about the private affairs of others? Aren’t you busy? Get back to work!”
Head Nurse Shiki, noticing the increasingly inappropriate and risqué nature of the nurses’ chatter, finally snapped at the group.
“Ahem, Koduki, after work today, report to my office alone. Enough chit-chat; get back to work!”
With the head nurse’s stern reprimand, the nurse station quickly returned to its busy, quiet state.
-------------------------------------
Not long after the nurse station quieted, a burst of cheerful laughter and strange voices erupted from Tsunade’s office.
The laughter and unusual sounds were so loud they penetrated the thick walls, floated down the long corridor outside the office, and eventually reached the ears of the nurses at the station.
“Huh? What’s that sound?”
The sharp-eared Nurse Koduki asked.
“Sounds like Lady Tsunade’s laughter, coming from the direction of her office,” replied Nurse Koaki.
“Shh, it’s not just laughter—there’s other noises too…”
Several nurses leaned in, holding their breaths and listening intently.
The nurse station grew even quieter, only the sounds from Tsunade’s office could be heard.
“Ah… haha… ticklish… haha…”
“Let go… ah… haha… stop biting… no… not there… dirty… ticklish… ah… haha…”
“Ah… haha… no… haha…”
“Not there… yamete… haha… Gofu… let go… brother… stop… husband… that’s dirty… xx… haha…”
“Ah… haha… don’t kiss there… haha…”
…
After catching those strange phrases, the nurses turned bright red, their eyes burning with gossip-fueled excitement.
But having just been scolded by Head Nurse Shiki, they dared not speak, only exchanging glances that conveyed the fire of their curiosity.
The small nurse station fell even quieter, only the sounds from Tsunade’s office remaining.
As for the stern Head Nurse Shiki—cough, cough—her ears stood alert, her cheeks flushed scarlet.
