Words Upon Release
Ah, it is that make-or-break moment once again.
Although this is the third time I have brought a book to launch, I am still incredibly nervous—it feels just like waiting for my name to be called in the examination room for a driving test.
Whew!
For my previous book, I chose the relatively niche world of Hunter x Hunter. This time, I thought I would try something more popular, so without much overthinking, I went with One Piece.
As it turned out... by the time I hit a hundred thousand words, I, Purple Pig, began to regret it.
The world-building in One Piece is simply too vast, and since I write without a formal outline, trying to maintain a sense of logic while writing has been both slow and agonizing.
Had I known it would be this difficult, I would have jumped on a different bandwagon, haha! ( ̄▽ ̄)~*
Still, I have managed to make it this far.
Over these past two months, what has touched me the most is the tolerance and support from all you readers. You are all so wonderful; thank you!
I also want to thank my editor-in-chief, Green Bean, and my desk editor, Ruoye, for their guidance. As for the performance of this book... well, to put it briefly, let’s just say it is best left unsaid, haha!
Anyway, back to the point.
The life-or-death situation I mentioned in the introduction is no joke.
When a book reaches its launch, subscription numbers are the only truth. They dictate the future recommendations for the book and, frankly, the passion of this pig! After all, well-done pork is definitely tastier than medium-rare, right?
Therefore, the power of life and death over this book now rests in your hands. Your subscriptions will decide just how far this story can go!
So, I am here on my knees, begging for your subscriptions. I would be immensely grateful! If you could enable auto-subscription, that would be even better, haha!
The launch time is set for Friday at noon, which is tomorrow.
I do not have a stockpile of chapters, so I plan to pull an all-nighter, writing straight through until the launch tomorrow at noon, aiming to produce five chapters.
To be honest, my poor body... the right side of my head is still throbbing...
But, I must push through.
Finally, let me outline the conditions for additional chapters.
For every one hundred average subscriptions after the launch, I will add one extra chapter; this policy is permanent. During the public phase, I missed a few chapters due to health issues—certainly not ten, but let’s round up and say I owe ten.
That means I currently owe ten chapters.
Everything else depends on your subscriptions. My current small goal is to provide three chapters a day!
That is all. Everyone has their moment to shine, and now it is your turn, my esteemed readers!
Tomorrow at 12:00 PM.
Please subscribe!
It is incredibly important!
